One of Dundee’s leading property developer is celebrating after letting office space to one of Scotland’s rising stars in the recruitment world.
Unicorn Property Group – headquartered at City Quay in Dundee – has let 1,000sqft to Maxwell Bruce at 36 Camperdown Street, part of the Shed 26/27 commercial development.
Maxwell Bruce have made their first investment in Dundee by taking an office in City Quay in order to focus upon permanent and temporary recruitment within the Renewables, Construction and Industrial sectors around Dundee and Tayside. The office will see the creation of 5 permanent jobs rising to 10 by the end of the first year. Roddy Donaldson Maxwell Bruce Managing Director said "We have a strong business platform in Tayside and the office will see us grow local revenues over the next 5 years. There is and will be huge inward investment in Dundee and we want to replicate the success of our Dunfermline and Glasgow offices".
Maxwell Bruce currently manage over 2000 temporary staff with existing clients over 13 Scottish location and this will continue to grow over coming months with turnover for 2012 targeted at £12,000,000.

The developer received the Dundee Civic Trust Award in November 2009 for outstanding contribution to the city for its magnificent Clock Tower apartment and flat development and was short listed in the British Council for Offices Awards for its DundeeOne office – the largest speculative office development in Scotland in recent years which forms part of the Dundee Central Waterfront Vision.
